Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America who gained attention for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom". Calvano, a Californian native, was originally interested in gymnastics competitions. Then, she chose to be an actor. In 2010 she first appeared on the screen in a scene from the CBS series 'NCIS.' Her big-screen debut occurred a year later, in the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. In the ensuing years, she has made herself known as one of the top young actresses within the field today. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series with the appearance of a guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. In 2013, her performance as a special guest in Disney XD's comedy "Kickin The 'It'' received her nomination once more for a Young Artist Award. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" which was the show's the first three seasons of and also made numerous appearances during Season 4. Calvano's performance being a rising star on Mom earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is presented to women who are outstanding actors.
